I can't believe I haven't written on this thing since November.
The end of 2012 was a mad rush of excitement, stress, and change. We spent Thanksgiving with my family and had a fun time eating delicious food and spending time with our loved ones. Christmas was the same. Eating pizza, playing the candy bar game, exchanging gifts. All around our holidays were enjoyable.
We rang in the New Year by sitting on our couch watching YouTube videos on TV. Not much of a party, but I think we were both okay with it.
Violet now has 2 bottom front teeth and is certainly learning how to use them. She hasn't quite learned how to crawl, but gets around just fine by scooting around on her behind. She desperately wants to walk and is beginning to pull herself up on things. She's eating all sorts of different things and definitely keeps Cristian and I on our toes. We love her so much.
Cristian has been doing very well at work. With the New Year he received a promotion and 2 pay raises. I'm very proud of him and I feel he is excited about the new expectations and responsibilities.. and yes the pay. We both feel very blessed he's been doing so well.
For me the end of last year and the beginning of this one is has been a time for me to reflect and look towards the future. I'm planning on getting back into school and have started my weight loss goals for 2013 and have already seen success in achieving in all that I want to.
All in all things have been decent. I am looking forward to this New Year and hopefully it's better than last year.
