bigger windows & baby shower plans

Every time I finally getting around to updating this thing it feels as though an eon has passed, and looking back I vaguely remember all the things that our family has experienced. I'll try and be more on top of this.

My last appointment was good. I haven't gained any more weight which is exactly what I wanted to hear, although she did say -again- that she was looking 4 weeks further along then she should be. I don't believe it though, she said that last night and maybe she just keeps feeling that way because underneath all of this my abs from swimming are made of steel. So I'm not worried about it. We have breast feeding classes to attend mid April and then birthing classes begin the first of May. We probably should have tried to do the birthing classes sooner but here's the story:

We wanted to just watch the DVD's that they provide so I went in, paid around $30 to rent them for a weeks and settled in with Cristian to watch them. Totally unhelpful as they all just referenced what went on in the class.. which was not what we were looking for obviously. So we got it refunded and now the only upcoming classes are in May. Probably should have organized this sooner but we can't be the first pregnant couple to be a little scatterbrained about everything-especially considering this is our first.

Anyways. I think she's coming early May so hopefully we've learned something by then :D
I'm afraid how I'll feel once she's here. I like feeling her move around in my stomach and it's always a wild experience for Cristian when he feels her kick and dance about to. Not ready to be a parent, but I am ready to feel more comfortable in my body and have full mobility. There are lots of things to look forward to.

Cristian's still plugging away at work. It's not a hard job but there are a lot of hard things he has to deal with while there. I'm so appreciative of his hard work and I hope sometime in the future I can pick up a job for awhile to ease the pressure a little bit. The weather has been getting warmer and warmer and I'm longing for camp outs and cook outs, hiking and biking, running and swimming, playing in the dams and getting shakes down at Bear Lake. But I think mostly this summer is going to be spent at home trying to get into a routine with my daughter and working on getting back in shape-while Cristian works most of the day. I'm okay with it.

The transitions we've had to make have been a challenge and this one coming up will be no different.
