Snippets// What Spring Looks Like

From a few weeks ago at Antelope Island. One of the most fun little getaways we've been on in a while. Everything is so much more exciting with a 2 year old who's curious and eager to explore the world around her. And who is the hot guy photo-bombing?;)
I am seriously the luckiest woman in the world. Seeing these two play and love each other melts my heart. She loves her daddy so much and he is so good to her. I love how protective of her he is. She is one blessed little girl to have Cristian as her daddy.
Because nature.
Violet's really into lining things up. This little set up she claimed was a "train" and had an exciting time climbing across back and forth.
Still keeping with our healthy resolutions, still learning new recipes and ways to make our favorite dishes more nutritious.
There are a lot of photos with Violet wearing this shirt. It's become her favorite, but I promise it's cleaned and laundered in every photo.
Also her hair. Enough said.
To be able to watch "The Magic School Bus" topless. This is what being 2 years old means.
Been revisiting a hobby from my past. I used to embroider A LOT. Pillowcases, cushions, etc. Decided to get back into it and it's been a nice therapeutic practice for me at the end of the day or whenever I get some down time (which is not often). I plan on graphing out a few original designs at some point...baby steps.
Just some sunshine and ice cream.

Violet's first try decorating Easter eggs. I love it. It's perfect.
I don't know who made this one, but we used turmeric to dye our eggs. So pretty!
Ugh. We love her.
